Aave Founder: New ARFC Proposal Vote Fully Legal and Compliant with Governance Framework
BlockBeats News, December 22, Aave founder Stani.eth posted, stating that tomorrow's "Brand Asset Ownership Transfer to Holders" ARFC proposal vote is fully legitimate. Over the past 5 days, all parties have discussed this matter and have established a timetable for the ARFC proposal. The snapshot also complies with the governance framework's requirements. Voting is the best way to address the issue and is the ultimate path to governance.
The leading lending protocol Aave is caught in a whirlwind of public opinion, with its community recently engaging in intense debates regarding the revenue distribution mechanism and brand ownership. The AAVE price has dropped by 8.9% in the past 24 hours, currently trading at $161. Earlier reports stated that the Aave community will launch the "Brand Asset Ownership Transfer to Holders" ARFC proposal vote on Snapshot tomorrow at 10:40, with voting continuing until December 26. The proposal includes clearly defining the ownership and usage permissions and related terms of Aave's brand assets and intellectual property (domain, social accounts, naming rights, etc.), and granting DAO control over them.
