Yellen said to reporters at the White House on Wednesday local time: "We will announce a significant increase in sanctions against Russia either after the market close today or early tomorrow." Yellen did not specify the content of the new measures. This announcement comes as the White House has just abandoned plans for a Trump-Putin meeting in the near future. (FX168)
