Cryptocurrency investment company Blockstream is set to acquire the TradFi hedge fund Corbiere Capital

BlockBeats News, December 12th - Cryptocurrency investment firm Blockstream Capital Partners (BCP) announced on Thursday in a press release that it plans to acquire Corbiere Capital Management. Corbiere Capital Management is a stock hedge fund based in Jersey and was founded by Rodrigo Rodriguez in 2023. The financial details of this acquisition were not disclosed.

BCP stated that after acquiring Corbiere Capital Management, it will add stock and event-driven strategies to its existing Bitcoin-related products, creating a multi-strategy platform targeting institutional investors. This merger aims to build a more diversified investment portfolio by combining traditional securities with Bitcoin-related investment exposure. Rodriguez will serve as the Chief Investment Officer of Blockstream Capital Management, a newly established asset management entity under BCP.
