Former Deputy Head of the President's Office Mudra Sent to Pretrial Detention with a Bail of 20 Million UAH
The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention with an alternative bail of 20 million hryvnias for the former deputy head of the President's Office, Irina Mudra, who is involved in the NABU case "Forest Gump." The judge partially granted the prosecutor's request, which sought detention with a bail of 150 million hryvnias. If bail is posted, Mudra will be subject to obligations: to appear at the first request of the detective, prosecutor, or court; not to leave Kyiv and the region without permission; to refrain from communicating with witnesses, suspects, and victims; not to visit the premises of certain companies; to surrender her foreign passport; and to wear an electronic bracelet. Mudra is suspected in the "Forest Gump" operation, which is related to the raiding of companies and attempts to circumvent court bans.
