Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghaei stated that Pakistan and Qatar are making efforts to de-escalate the situation, and currently, there are no other mediators involved. Due to the United States' violation of a previously signed memorandum of understanding, Iran has not initiated any negotiations with the US; the memorandum stipulated a timeline for negotiations regarding the lifting of sanctions and nuclear issues, and there is no so-called "60-day negotiation deadline." Baghaei also mentioned that negotiations between Iran and Oman are ongoing, with both sides seriously working on a maritime passage roadmap. Due to the complexity of the issues involved and the participation of multiple parties, as well as attempts by some countries to undermine the process, the negotiations with Oman have taken a considerable amount of time. Baghaei emphasized that Iran will not make decisions under time pressure or ultimatums.
