The U.S. prediction market platform Kalshi has announced a partnership with DoubleZero to distribute its real-time order book data through DoubleZero's DoubleZero Edge network, offering subscription services to institutional trading firms. The initial data will cover Kalshi's sports event contracts and crypto perpetual contracts, including Level 1 data that displays the best quotes and transactions, as well as Level 2 data with multiple buy and sell orders. The data will be sent in a machine-readable format via multicast synchronization, suitable for pricing, hedging, and automated trading. Kalshi stated that it will waive its own data licensing revenue share fees for the first year, with subscription fees primarily covering network transmission; DoubleZero noted that this move provides prediction market participants with a professional-grade market data infrastructure similar to that of traditional finance.
