BlockBeats News, October 28th, MetaMask tweeted that it has launched support for multi-chain accounts. Additionally, the asset loading speed for users has improved by 30x.

MetaMask was initially a wallet that only supported the Ethereum network. Over time, support has been gradually added for Ethereum Layer 2 solutions (such as Arbitrum, Optimism, zkSync, etc.) and other EVM-compatible networks; through the Snap plugin system, the wallet can connect to non-EVM networks.

Today, thanks to architectural improvements, MetaMask now natively supports non-EVM networks such as the Solana network and plans to soon support networks like Bitcoin.
