Over 18 Million Square Meters of Roads Restored in Ukraine

Since the beginning of 2026, over 18 million square meters of road surface on state roads have been restored in Ukraine. The largest volumes of repairs have been recorded in the Kirovohrad, Kyiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. About 550 road workers are involved in the efforts, using the "carpet" laying method for the rapid restoration of damaged sections. Work continues on international and national highways, including the M-06 Kyiv -- Chop and M-19 Domanevka -- Kovel -- Chernivtsi -- Terebovlia routes. In the Zhytomyr region, the asphalting of the Berdychiv bypass is nearing completion, and the surface has been completely renewed on a 13-kilometer section of the M-21. In the Kharkiv region, over 310,000 square meters have been repaired on the M-03 Kyiv -- Kharkiv -- Dovzhansky highway. In the Sumy region, repairs have been completed on sections of the N-07, N-12, R-60, and R-61, totaling about 40 kilometers. In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, repairs on the N-09 and N-10 have been completed. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, over 152,000 square meters have been restored on the R-51 road.
