Sales of early grapes from the new harvest have begun at Ukrainian wholesale markets, with prices for the first batches ranging from 150 to 250 UAH per kilogram. The start of local grape harvesting indicates a transition in the fruit and berry season, increasing supply in the domestic market and influencing price dynamics. For the agricultural sector, this means a shift from imported products to the mass sale of open-field produce from southern and central regions. At the 'Stolichny' market, grapes from Nikopol are offered at 160 to 240 UAH/kg, depending on the variety and quality. The assortment of other seasonal fruits and berries arriving from Nikopol and the Odessa region is also expanding. The berry market is seeing a decrease in blueberry prices: large berries are sold for 165 UAH/kg, one of the lowest figures since the beginning of the season. Strawberries are priced at 160 to 200 UAH/kg, while cherries range from 135 to 165 UAH/kg. The first batches of local pears have entered the market at 50 UAH/kg, and new harvest apples are priced at 35 UAH/kg. As of July 24, 2026, strawberry prices remain high, cherries have slightly decreased in price, while the costs of apples, bananas, lemons, and oranges have remained unchanged.
