RWA Market on Perpetual Futures DEX Exceeds 1,000, Accounting for 75% of Listed Stocks
The market for real-world assets (RWA) traded on perpetual futures decentralized exchanges (DEX) has surpassed 1,000. The market related to publicly listed stocks accounts for approximately 75% of the total RWA market. According to CryptoRank's data, the number of RWAs in the perpetual futures DEX exceeds 1,000, with publicly listed stocks emerging as the largest asset class. Perpetual futures are derivatives that track the price fluctuations of underlying assets without an expiration date, and DEX provides this on a blockchain basis. The RWA market includes not only stocks but also commodities such as gold and crude oil, as well as foreign exchange-related products. CryptoRank has indicated that tokenized stocks are becoming a major entry point for traditional financial assets into on-chain perpetual futures trading. Perpetual futures DEX operates 24/7, with price oracles and liquidation criteria design emerging as key operational elements. However, an increase in the number of markets does not necessarily imply that trading is active or that liquidity is sufficient.
