The Democratic Party of Korea has urged the Financial Services Commission to closely monitor single stock leveraged ETFs and to develop supplementary measures when necessary. On July 20, members of the Democratic Party, part of the National Assembly's Political Affairs Committee, held a meeting with the Financial Services Commission to hear a report from Chairman Lee Ik-hyeon. Lawmaker Park Sang-hyuk stated that the Financial Services Commission reported on relevant measures announced last week, and members generally called for the regulatory body to further strengthen market monitoring and situation assessment, suggesting that more supplementary measures should be considered if necessary.
