SpaceX Restructures Data Center Leadership to Address Infrastructure Issues
Elon Musk has recently made adjustments to the team responsible for data center construction, replacing several leaders and bringing in executives from the rocket and satellite internet divisions to strengthen data center infrastructure development. This restructuring comes in response to civil engineering and reliability issues at existing SpaceX AI data centers in Tennessee and Mississippi. During the early stages of artificial intelligence infrastructure development, SpaceX AI acted hastily to quickly establish data centers, with some facilities operating for months without backup cooling and power systems, increasing the risk of system outages.
