The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has announced the simplification of rules related to IPOs to support companies in their listing activities. The new regulations will eliminate the 7-day waiting period for related research reports during the IPO process and simplify the information-sharing requirements between issuers and companies. The FCA stated that this reform will reduce the execution risks and compliance costs for issuers, making it easier for businesses to enter the public market. The new rules will officially take effect on August 5, 2026.
