Ukrnafta Implements Intelligent Management for 580 Wells

Ukrnafta is implementing the Weatherford ForeSite system for automatic control of rod pumping units. The technology analyzes the performance of wells in real time and helps reduce costs. In Ukrnafta's well fund, equipped with rod pumping units, there are 580 units. Currently, 72 wells are operating with intelligent management, and another 62 are being connected to the Weatherford ForeSite system. In the future, it is planned to implement such solutions annually on 40-60 wells. Digital technologies enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the reliability of equipment operation. The software analyzes the performance of the drilling well, the condition of the pumps, and the inflow of liquid, automatically selecting the production mode without overloading the equipment. The implementation of the system ensures the preservation or increase of production volumes, reduces electricity consumption per ton of produced liquid, extends the operational period of equipment between repairs, and decreases the number of trips by repair crews.
