The national postal operator 'Ukrposhta' is starting the production and installation of the first thousand new street mailboxes in collaboration with the company 'Modern-Expo'. The new devices will combine the functions of a mailbox and a classic post box, allowing customers to receive packages and send letters. In the first phase, 'Ukrposhta' is looking for locations in major cities of Ukraine, including Kyiv, Odesa, Lviv, and Dnipro. The company is calling for cooperation from representatives of homeowners' associations, management companies, and residential complex developers. To propose a location, an application must be submitted on the official website. The first thousand mailboxes mark the beginning of a large-scale expansion of the network, and 'Ukrposhta' plans to continue purchasing and integrating mailboxes from partner companies in the future. It was previously reported about the deployment of a network of internal mailboxes in 15 regions, where more than 370 express delivery cells are operational.
