United Kingdom to Share Electronic Warfare Technology with Ukraine

Andy Burnham welcomed Volodymyr Zelensky and announced the transfer of intellectual property of the electronic warfare system 'Stone Cloak' to Ukraine. This technology is designed to interfere with Russian detection systems and enhance the survivability of drones in combat. Burnham, who took office a week ago, reaffirmed British support for Ukraine, highlighting that the agreement will allow Kyiv to produce the system on a large scale. Zelensky thanked the decision, stating that it will strengthen Ukraine's defensive capabilities. The meeting took place at a naval base in Portsmouth, where both leaders observed joint exercises between British and Ukrainian military forces. Zelensky also expressed his intention to revitalize diplomacy, although he acknowledged that the war between Israel and the United States against Iran has complicated mediation efforts and the supply of Western armaments. Kyiv's needs include Patriot missiles, essential for intercepting Russian ballistic attacks.
