Zelensky Announces New Targets for Long-Range Strikes on Russia

Ukraine will continue its long-range operations against Russia and has updated its priority targets for strikes. The range of Ukrainian strike capabilities exceeds 3,000 kilometers, with the main goal being to weaken Russia's military and economic potential and to compel it to engage in diplomacy. The new list of targets has been formed considering their impact on Russia's ability to continue the war. The primary task is to increase pressure on the aggressor country to achieve a diplomatic resolution. Zelensky noted that the strategic depth of Russia's rear is becoming a weak point, as a significant portion of its air defense is concentrated around Moscow and other key sites. Ukrainian drones have confirmed their ability to strike targets in the Urals, Siberia, and other remote areas of Russia. Since the beginning of the year, the Defense Forces have completed over 1,000 fire missions, with targeted strikes including oil facilities and enterprises of the military-industrial complex. Strikes by Ukrainian drones on Wildberries logistics centers have caused Russia damages exceeding 180 billion rubles and may lead to supply chain issues and accelerate inflation.
