Node

A node is any device (computer, server, or phone) connected to a blockchain network that helps maintain the network by validating, storing, and broadcasting transactions. Nodes play a crucial role in decentralized networks by ensuring that all participants have a consistent and accurate copy of the blockchain ledger. There are different types of nodes, including full nodes, which store the entire blockchain history and validate transactions, and lightweight nodes, which store only a portion of the blockchain and rely on full nodes for validation. Running a node requires computational power and storage capacity, but it contributes to the network’s security and decentralization.
