Former DeepMind Researcher Warns AI Could Kill All Humanity
Former Google DeepMind researcher Bilal Chughtai posted on X and LinkedIn, stating that humanity is running out of time to prevent artificial intelligence from causing widespread harm. He expressed that during his work on AI safety and alignment under Alphabet, he witnessed the development of AI firsthand and is extremely concerned about the default trajectory of the technology. He sincerely believes that AI has the potential to kill all of humanity. This statement has once again raised concerns about the direction of technological development, and Google has not yet responded to this.
