The National Administration of Social Security (ANSES) is offering a one-time payment benefit during August for registered workers and other beneficiaries of the family allowance system. With the updated amounts for the month, the income reaches $263,432 when the requirements set by the agency are met.
This is the Marriage Allowance. Unlike other benefits, this money is not automatically deposited. To receive it, it is mandatory to initiate the process with ANSES within the established timeframe set by the regulations and to prove that the labor, economic, and administrative conditions required for this allowance are met.
The benefit is part of the One-Time Payment Allowances (APU), which also include payments for birth and adoption. Before applying, ANSES recommends verifying that personal data and family links are correctly registered in the agency's database to avoid delays during the evaluation of the file.
The payment is directed to those who have contracted civil marriage and belong to one of the groups covered by the current regulations. According to official information from ANSES, eligible individuals include employees, self-employed workers, beneficiaries of Unemployment Benefits, people receiving payments through a Work Risk Insurance Company (ART), and holders of the Honorary Pension for War Veterans.
The process can be carried out through Virtual Attention or in person at an agency office with a prior appointment. In both cases, it is necessary for the marriage to be recorded in the database of ANSES and for the personal data of both spouses to be updated.
Once the documentation is submitted, the agency analyzes compliance with the requirements before authorizing the payment. If both members of the couple meet the conditions, each can receive $131,716, allowing them to exceed $260,000 together during August.
In addition to belonging to one of the eligible groups, applicants must respect the income limits established by ANSES for the month in which the marriage occurred. For August 2026, the family group's income cannot exceed $6,069,688, while none of the members can have individual incomes exceeding $3,034,844. If any of these limits are exceeded, the allowance does not apply.
In the case of employees, a minimum and continuous seniority of six months at the time of marriage is also required. The agency also reminds that the amount of this benefit is updated periodically along with other family allowances, so the value may change based on the increases established by the current mobility.
The regulations state that the application can be submitted from two months after the marriage and up to a maximum of two years from the wedding date. Before this initial period, it is not possible to manage the allowance, and once the two-year limit has expired, the benefit can no longer be claimed. This period is the same for all groups covered by the benefit and does not change depending on how the documentation is submitted.
Therefore, it is recommended not to wait until the last moment to start the process and to verify beforehand that all personal information is updated. This way, the chances of observations or delays during the evaluation of the file are reduced.
If two years pass from the date of marriage without having initiated the process, the right to receive this one-time payment expires. In that scenario, the agency does not foresee a procedure to automatically reinstate the application nor allows submitting a new file outside the established period. For this reason, it is essential to respect the timeframe set by the current regulations.
Those who have doubts about the date of their marriage registered in ANSES or about the status of their personal data can access My ANSES or consult at an agency office before the authorized period expires. There, it is also possible to verify if family links have been correctly incorporated into the database and to correct any inconsistencies that could prevent the collection of the allowance.

Banco Santander's Form 13F-HR, filed July 29, 2026, reports 129,615 shares of BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust worth $4.31M as of June 30 — its first-ever disclosed spot-bitcoin-ETF position, alongside a first ether-ETF holding. What the filing shows is a quarter-end snapshot of ETF shares; what it does not show is motive, or bitcoin on the bank's balance sheet.

Agave v4.2 targets mainnet feature activations on 17 August 2026, but the slot-time change is only step one of a five-step reduction — 400ms to 350ms, not the 200ms end state. Alpenglow's complete code ships with this release; its activation is set for v4.3.
