JPMorgan Increases Crypto Position, UBS Also Rises
The 13F filings of institutional investors managing over $100 million in assets in the U.S. ended on August 14. JPMorgan increased its position in BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) from 8,302,691 shares to 10,407,635 shares, marking a quarterly increase of 25.35%. The total number of shares rose from 8,462,000 to 10,623,000. JPMorgan's Ether position in BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA) increased by approximately 1,170,000 shares, showing a 338% increase. UBS's position in IBIT rose from 364,371 shares to 407,890 shares, achieving a 12% increase and reaching a value of $13.6 million. Morgan Stanley reduced its IBIT position from 17,263,778 shares to 16,480,435 shares, experiencing a decrease of 4.54%. Goldman Sachs's position also decreased by 4.19%, falling to 17,232,201 shares. Tudor Investment increased its IBIT position by 18.90%, reaching 688,529 shares. Brevan Howard reduced its IBIT position by 70.36%, dropping to 7,205,004 shares. Mubadala's IBIT position remained unchanged.
