Link Solution Launches Defense and Aerospace Center in Daejeon
Link Solution has established a base for additive manufacturing of defense and aerospace components in Daehwa-dong, Daejeon. This center aims to promote entry into the defense supply chain through a production system that separates design and manufacturing data from external networks. On the 24th, Link Solution announced the establishment of the Daejeon Defense and Aerospace Center, which will actively pursue entry into the global defense supply chain in conjunction with the large-scale additive manufacturing foundry in Daejeon set to open in December. The Daejeon Defense and Aerospace Center will operate dedicated servers for defense and aerospace projects, Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) terminals, and PCs for controlling 3D printers. The center plans to support the production of prototypes and mass production of high-reliability components used in aircraft, satellites, launch vehicles, and guided weapons, as well as the localization of discontinued parts and responding to urgent manufacturing demands. Link Solution stated that it will gradually enhance its systems to meet the security requirements of the global defense supply chain, including CMMC. Currently, cooperation is also underway with domestic aerospace companies for the manufacturing of key components for next-generation spacecraft. The CEO of Link Solution mentioned that through the Daejeon Defense and Aerospace Center, they aim to enhance global manufacturing and security capabilities and respond to high-value defense projects and large-scale mass production through synergy with the Daejeon AM Foundry.
