In addition to the Nobel laureates, important guests from government, international scientific institutions, top universities, and the global technology ecosystem will also participate in the forum, gala dinner, and exhibition opening activities.
Closed-Door Dialogue Across Science and Capital | Nobel Heroes Gala Dinner
On the evening of October 5, the Nobel Heroes & AI4SCI Gala Dinner will be held at Conrad Singapore Orchard, exclusively for invited guests.
Unlike the public agenda of the daytime forum, the Gala Dinner aims to create a more private and in-depth communication environment.
From the original insights of scientists to the real practices of AI and technology industry builders, and the judgments of long-term institutional investors on the next generation of technology and industrial transformation, science, intelligence, industry, and capital will generate deeper exchanges in the same space.
By pre-sorting the research directions, industrial fields, and cooperation interests of the guests, the conference hopes to create more possibilities for sustained cooperation between scientists, technology companies, industrial institutions, and long-term capital.
Public Encounter Beyond the Ivory Tower | Peter Badge AR Portrait Exhibition of Nobel Laureates
For a long time, Nobel laureates have often been seen by the public as names on papers, discoveries in the history of science, or figures on the podium.
Renowned portrait photographer Peter Badge has been documenting Nobel laureates from around the world since 2000.
Unlike traditional official portraits, he aims to present the real side of scientists as "humans"—the focus in the laboratory, the contemplation in the study, and the little-known moments of life beyond the lens.
His long-term portrait project of Nobel laureates has received support from international cultural institutions such as the Deutsches Museum, the Smithsonian Institution, and the National Portrait Gallery in the UK.
From October 5 to 11, the Nobel laureate portrait exhibition will be open to the public at Singapore's iconic Gardens by the Bay.
This exhibition will also incorporate AR interactive technology. Audiences can enter a digital experience through their phones, guided by a virtual Peter Badge, to get closer to each Nobel laureate and learn about the stories behind the portraits, scientific achievements, and personal experiences.
On the morning of October 6, attending Nobel laureates and important guests will also participate in the exhibition opening ceremony together.
This is not only a scientific exhibition but also hopes to bring science out of laboratories and academic halls into the city and the public, allowing more people to understand that the scientific breakthroughs that change the world ultimately come from real individuals and their continuous curiosity about the unknown.
