The development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and the GUAM corridor will help Ukraine diversify its logistics and create new trade routes between Europe and Asia, bypassing Russia and Iran. Since the onset of the Russian invasion, traditional logistics routes for Ukrainian exports have been disrupted, making it particularly difficult to operate with Central Asia. Azerbaijan is becoming a key link in this route, providing land and sea pathways towards China and Europe. Ukraine is interested in deepening cooperation with Azerbaijan, Georgia, and other partners to expand the capabilities of the Middle Corridor, including the development of port infrastructure and the simplification of border procedures. Although the route may not be the cheapest, it offers security, reliability, and independence from Russia. In the coming years, Azerbaijan's role as a transport and logistics hub will grow, allowing Ukraine to restore lost routes and integrate into new transport chains.
