This week, the Federal Reserve enters a quiet period ahead of its September policy meeting, with investors focusing on the PPI and CPI reports, while the European Central Bank will announce its interest rate decision. The specific schedule is as follows (all times in Beijing time):
On Monday (September 7), U.S. and Canadian stock markets will be closed due to the Labor Day holiday.
Thursday 1:00 AM, ECB President Lagarde will give a speech at the official dinner of the German Central Bank; Thursday 1:00 AM, Apple will hold its fall product launch event; Thursday 8:15 PM, the ECB will announce its interest rate decision; 8:30 PM, Lagarde will hold a monetary policy press conference; Thursday 8:30 PM, U.S. initial jobless claims for the week ending September 5, August PPI year-on-year and month-on-month; Friday 8:30 PM, U.S. August unadjusted CPI and core CPI year-on-year, August adjusted CPI and core CPI month-on-month.
In terms of earnings reports, Oracle will release its results after the U.S. market closes on Thursday, which may have a significant impact on the market's AI trading trends.
