U.S. employment has decreased more than expected, drawing attention to the price indicators that will determine the direction of Bitcoin (BTC) and the virtual asset market. According to the July employment report, the U.S. economy lost 23,000 jobs, significantly below the expected 80,000. This slowdown in employment could reduce the Federal Reserve's tightening pressure, but inflation variables still exist. This week is dubbed 'Inflation Week,' with the July Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Producer Price Index (PPI) set to be announced. The CPI will be released on the 13th, and the PPI on the 14th, while retail sales and consumer sentiment index will be disclosed on the 15th. If the CPI rises, the likelihood of resuming interest rate hikes increases, which could put pressure on the Bitcoin and altcoin markets. Conversely, if a trend of price stability is confirmed, expectations for easing tightening may grow. The PPI serves as an indicator showing inflation trends from the perspective of producer prices, and if it exceeds expectations, it could be interpreted as a signal that price pressures remain strong. Additionally, if consumption remains robust despite the employment slowdown, it would demonstrate the resilience of the U.S. economy, but if consumption slows down, it could signal an economic downturn. Bitcoin is currently hovering around $65,000, exploring its direction. This week's inflation indicators and geopolitical variables are key factors in determining the next trend of the virtual asset market.
