GlobalWay Stock (3936): Price, Board Talking Points and Outlook
Globalway (TSE: 3936) is an information/communications small-cap on the TSE Growth market. It once spiked in 2021 as a crypto (TimeCoin) and metaverse name, but it no longer runs that business; its core today is the "Career Connection" (Careekone) company-review and jobs media plus implementation-support services for Salesforce (Agentforce) and other enterprise software. It returned to profit in FY3/2026 for the first time in four years, yet FY3/2027 guidance is for recurring profit to fall about 60%. The shares went from a ¥238 high in April 2026 to ¥156 on July 17. This page summarizes the board talking points as of July 2026, the business today, and how to read the stock.

Board and community talking points
As of July 2026 the board mixes hope and distrust, leaning cautious. The recurring themes:
- Distrust of execution. Posts such as "they announce plans but never carry them out" question whether initiatives get delivered.
- Mockery of the 2021 game/crypto era. Comments calling the old "GameTomodachi" title "poorly made and quick to get boring" show the board itself treating the crypto/game era as past.
- AI hope versus the price. "They're ramping an AI venture but the stock only doubled" captures the sense that the price lags the story, alongside harsh verdicts ("junk stock," "ten-bagger"), with a minority betting on the Careekone re-rating. These are observed views, not our recommendation.
The business today and what to watch
Globalway was founded in 2004 and listed on the TSE Mothers market in 2016; it is headquartered in Shimbashi, Minato-ku, its representative is Masato Kagami (reported to hold about 41.84% of shares), and it has 153 consolidated employees. It is a micro-cap, with a market value near ¥5.86 billion on about 37.57 million shares. Its businesses today are the Careekone company-review/jobs media (launched 2007) and IT consulting centered on Salesforce implementation (a partner since 2014; an Agentforce implementation-support service launched May 28, 2026). It runs no crypto or Web3 business now.
FY3/2026 delivered sales of ¥4.01 billion (+30.7%), operating income of ¥307 million and net income of ¥193 million — its first profit in four years (on May 12 it revised recurring profit up 2.2x, and the next day the shares were bid limit-up). FY3/2027 guidance, however, is for sales of ¥4.31 billion (+7.3%) but recurring profit down about 60%, with Kabutan noting "recurring profit to fall 60% this year." So "growth is accelerating" is not the right description. Note that its financial statements are shown in millions of yen, so ¥4.01 billion in sales should not be misread as ¥40 billion.
How to read the stock
Globalway is also a "relic of the 2021 market": in the metaverse/TimeCoin mania it ran from about ¥40 to an intraday ¥2,192 that November. It did three stock splits in four months (30x cumulative), so every pre-2021 price must be adjusted, and today's ¥156 is about 93% below the 2021 adjusted peak. In 2026 it recovered from a ¥123 low on March 4 to a ¥238 high on April 23 on the Careekone re-rating and the May upward revision, and traded at ¥156 on July 17 (the hard driver of the April pop was the May 12 revision; the Careekone "structural change" thesis remains a view, not fact). The forward P/E is about 46x (as of July 2026). Bulls point to the return to profit, expansion of Salesforce/Agentforce services and the Careekone re-rating; bears note the FY3/2027 plan for recurring profit down about 60%, and that with the representative holding roughly 41.84%, a micro-cap float makes the stock prone to sharp moves. This page sets no price target; the near-term catalyst is Q1 earnings said to be in mid-August (confirm against company IR).
Trading tokenized US big-tech stocks on WEEX
To own Globalway shares themselves, the standard route is a Japanese brokerage account. As global exposure to the enterprise-AI and SaaS theme (Agentforce and the like), US big-tech names are the archetypes. On WEEX you can trade tokenized US big-tech products such as MSFT, AMZN and META. Tokenized stocks are not the underlying shares; they are tracking products that follow the reference stock's price. Bitcoin and other crypto assets can also be traded via futures (leverage, long or short) or on the spot market. See the Microsoft (MSFT) guide and the WEEX market listings. WEEX offers tokenized US equities and crypto — not Globalway or any other Japanese stock, nor any proxy for them.
FAQ
Where can I see Globalway's message board?
On the Yahoo Finance Japan board (3936) and Minkabu (3936), where retail investors discuss the stock and price.
Is Globalway a crypto company?
Not now. It spiked in 2021 as a crypto/metaverse name, but that business is gone; its core today is Careekone and Salesforce implementation support.
If it returned to profit, is growth accelerating?
Company guidance is the opposite: FY3/2027 recurring profit is projected down about 60%. Do not conflate the single-year return to profit with the guided decline this year.
What moves the share price?
Quarterly results and guidance, Salesforce/Agentforce developments, the Careekone re-rating, and micro-cap supply/demand.
