Kyivstar Launches eSIM for Travel in 38 Countries
Kyivstar has launched a separate eSIM for mobile internet abroad, operational in 38 countries. Users can choose internet packages of 5, 10, 20, or 40 GB. The service is intended solely for mobile internet; calls and SMS are not available. eSIMs can be purchased by both Kyivstar subscribers and customers of other operators. To activate, one must buy the eSIM in the Kyivstar online store, install it on a compatible smartphone, and activate it. After activation, internet access is available in countries where the service is provided, including Austria, the United Kingdom, Germany, the USA, and others. Coverage is also available in Guadeloupe, Martinique, and French Guiana. Kyivstar offers VoLTE in roaming and 5G roaming in dozens of countries. Kyivstar and Ukrtelecom have signed a cooperation agreement for the joint use of telecom infrastructure.
